How to Add a Text Node or Sticky Note

Text nodes and sticky notes hold writing on your canvas — prompts, notes, or context for the nodes around them.

Steps

Step 1: Open a canvas

Open any canvas from the Canvas Library, or create a new one.

The toolbar sits at the bottom of the canvas.

Step 3: Click Text or Sticky Note

Click Text to add a plain text node, or Sticky Note to add a colored note. Both appear on the canvas ready to edit.

Step 4: Edit the content

Click into the node and type. Click outside the node to finish editing.

Tips

Use Section from the same toolbar to group related nodes inside a labeled frame.
Text nodes can be referenced by nearby image nodes as prompt context.
